Day 152

Yep, day 151 I skipped. I had a night out with the girls and didn't make it home til after 2am. Today I met my friend Tatious and her family down at the park and did some portraits for them. It was my first time to shoot people beyond my family. David and the kids came with me so that he could see Tatious for a few. After I finished with them I turned the camera on David and the kids and just took a few fun shots. The rest of them are in the May album. Tomorrow is Gran day, keep you fingers crossed the weather behaves for us!!

Day 150

Took the kids to the park today. They loved running around and I enjoyed the shade! Our printer died again and David is still debating which one to get to replace it so I went over to mom and dad vhs to print out all of my email confirmations for next month. I have 9 days til Utah and 16 days til Atlanta!! Not that I'm excited or counting down or anything :-)

Day 149

Must be fabulous to be 21months and look good in everything! Lil man really has a personality that shines! Today Bugg and I played the Wii for a while, then she played it with daddy. Then we watched a couple of shows while Freyja played computer. Around 4 I took the kids out and played til 6 when daddy shoo'd us in the house so he could finish mowing. When I bathed he kids I had to shower them before letting them sit as they had been playing in the dust and looked like lil gray ghosts. I made some cookies, booked my room for Atlanta now it's time to knock some kids out!

Day 148

We've had a quiet day of cuddles, tv, family time and daddy mowing the backyard. Jax played in the treasure box of beads for almost an hour today, bringing us beads and decorating the house. It took almost 30min to find all the beads to put them back! Had a rough night with Jax last night, here's hoping tonight will be better!!

Day 147

Finally managed to COMPLETE the inner bathroom today! Cabinet doors are rehung, floor is spotless and walls are done! Still need to touch up the outer bathroom and paint cabinets... I've decided we're hiring someone for the rest of the house! I'm not doing this! My leg is on fire, I just washed it and applied new cerran wrap and it burns to touch them! It's normal though, tomorrow I will be plastic wrap free and have to apply lotion every couple of hours. It's a lot of work the first few days but worth it in the long run! After my past tattoos I always already had the next one in mind, this time I KNOW I'm done because there's nothing else I can think of that completes me like what I already have. We went to Granmamas and Opas tonight and did burgers, dogs and corn on the grill. Next door neighbors kids outgrew their playhouse and were going to toss it but mom vh saved it for the kids. David took Freyja swimming while Jax and I played with the new playhouse and in the water table. Came home and David mowed the yard while kids and I ate icecream then both kids were out by 9! I'm gonna pay being up this late but it's the only 100% "me time" I get these days! Tomorrow is a lazy day! Catch up on dvr'd shows and play with the kids!

Day 146

I must be a glutton for punishment to be willing to go under a needle and have it carve designs in me. Tonight I got my 5th and 6th tattoos and these are my final ones for sure! I've always wanted one to symbolize my love of Pink Floyd (Dark side of the Moon) and my eternal thanks to their music for helping me through both my parents and my own divorce. I could've stayed in a dark place for a long time if I hadn't submersed myself in their music and let it bring me back from he depths of despair. And as for the other rose and the jax...just a whim, they mean nothing ;-) David didn't know I was getting that one at all and when he finally noticed it on my leg he asked why I had a rose and a jack on my leg then stopped and asked why he just said that...took a closer look and fell in love! Freyja is head over heals for her rose, she knows it's there because she's my beauty. Jax just wants to poke the serran (sp?) wrap on my leg and watch mama squeal and jump. I'm "grounded" from the pool for the next two weeks but after the kids and I come back from Utah it'll be safe to submerge them, plus the pool water will be warmer! 19 more days til my concert!!!

Day 145

Two kids out before 930!! It's a record!! I guess I'll start showering at night with the kids like tonight if that means they konk out this easy! I painted my exterior bathroom today and am slowing putting it back together. Talked to my dad for over an hour tonight, two weeks from today and the kids and I will be in Utah...tomorrow I have a mommy (and kid) lunch date then home to continue cleaning up my bathroom. Plus Tatious will be home starting tomorrow til June 2 and we have lots of girl stuff planned!! Yay :-)

Day 144

21 days remaining til my concert of a lifetime!!! Kids and I used my free redbox code today for a movie. We got Hop, cute Easter Bunny movie, not worth buying but was worth the free code and the kids enjoyed it. Ran around outside before bed and found a huge toad living in one of our root holes. Had fun sneaking up on it and peeking in the hole. Jax went down with only a mild fuss tonight by 10pm even with his nap at 4! First night of no nursing after biting me last night and David and I declaring them "broken". I should be dried up and done before our trip to Utah next month! I will kiss the closeness with him but will be glad to be done with it as well!! Tomorrow I have a sitter for a bit so I can paint! Yay :-)

Day 143

Damn naps! It's 1115 and Jax and I are watching cartoons...that tell you how my day has been and how my night will be? Yeah...yay!

Day 142

Daddy and Freyja snuggling on the couch and Jax running around in daddy's socks pulled all the way! Kids and I surprised Gran and Grandaddy with an early morning visit. I had found a mask on the local garage sale site that just HAD to go in moms turquoise room. Turns out I paid $2 for something that could easily have cost upwards of $50+!! Gotta love bargains!! Freyja and Grandaddy went adventuring in the yard with Buster for a while. Its nice that Freyja is old enough now to not worry about her getting away from Grandaddy and doing something dangerous before he can stop her, over all she has a pretty decent head on her shoulders for ditzy blonde 4.5yr old! We watched the last 3 episodes of House tonight. We have not watched at all this season but wanted to see how it all ended so we taped the last few and had a mini marathon tonight. Can't say I was either pleased or diappointed in the ending...no show will ever end  as well for me as my Six Feet Under series that I used to watch on HBO, that had the best ending of all time!! Time to head off to bed....just cleaning house and organizing tomorrow for more painting Thursday when I have a sitter again!

Day 141

Typical Sunday...early to rise, cleaned house, did laundry, Adam/Heather/Sarina came over for lunch, we went swimming, Freyja got to ride her bike while I changed the break light bulb on the Accent and then popcorn and shows with the family! Jax has been a fuss pot pretty much all day, Freyja has been her typical self, David and I are fine but tired from being yoyos all night with Jax! Tomorrow I have errands to run, laundry to finish, touch ups to do and hopefully painting Jaxs handprint like my sweet mothers day present from my beauty! I painted the hand orange and she painted the rest all by herself! I love my babies hand prints!!

Day 140

Well...managed to finish the living room and inner bathroom today and taped up the outter bathroom. Found mom an awesome addition to her room, can't wait to pick it up Monday!! Went to a swap and found some new stuff. Kids had fun with daddy playing outside. Daddy let Jax nap til 6 so I may be in for a late night. I'm hungry! So putting Bugg to bed, fixing a snack and waiting out lil guy hoping he passes out soon! Playdate with Adam Heather and Sarina tomorrow.

Day 139

Woke up at the crack of 7am today to hurry over to moms and take her for lab work. The kids are not used to being stirred quite that early and after a week of no alarms, this morning was hard to start rolling! After the quickest day ever of shopping with Gran the kids and I came home and made some no bake cookies for my swap meet tomorrow night. The kids got the pleasure of cleaning the rest of the peanut butter from the jar. They both started with spoons but at some point Jax switched to the natural spoon, the finger, and dug the rest out. Freyja came in and told me Jax was acting like Pooh in the hunny jar, sure enough i came out of the kitchen and he was up to his elbows and eyeballs in peanut butter! It was a two wet wipe clean up after the fact. All four of us went swimming tonight though the water was too chilly for daddy and mostly for Jax too. Jax did bob around the deep end with me for a few minutes before turning blue and sliding his little glacier self out of the pool. I thought I was going to take the kids to the beach tomorrow but now I think I may just play dead in the morning and give David an IOU for him to sleep in Sunday! G'nite all!!

Day 138

Man I'm glad to say today was boring compared to yesterday!! My friend that did the kids halloween pix came over today with her son (2months younger than Jax) and played with the kids while I painted the living room/dining room. It was Jax's first playdate where HE had a guest and Freyja was the "tag along". The kids did great for Lisa, they played well together and even shared a snack. Jax would hold out a chip for Zane, he'd take a bite then Jax would take it back and take a bite and continue til time for a new chip. After finishing the living room the kids and I went to Opa and Granmama's for the first swim of the season. David had a neighborhood association meeting and couldn't join us. Jax lasted all of about 5min in the pool til he started shivering. The water wasn't cold but it wasn't warm either. Freyja played for a good 30-45min before she started turning living room blue and I had to evict her from the pool. Tomorrow is grocery day with Gran, actually need to set the alarm! Fingers crossed Jax has another great night! He slept til 6am without crying for me then slept until 8am when I went in to him!! My bed is empty and my room is quiet but my heart is full knowing my babies are safe in their own beds dreaming sweet dreams.

Day 137

Oh my word what a day! I taped up the living room for painting tomorrow. Kids and I played outside and cut some low lying limbs as well as pulled up some evil thorny vines. After dinner I painted in the bathroom while Freyja played in my room, Jax in his and daddy in his office. Then the words no mother wants to hear...honey our son has locked himself in his bedroom! So after a failed attempt of getting him out we called 911 and they pryed the door open for us after Jax was in there a good 30min in the dark screaming his head off....my son is fine, the door is not, my bathroom is painted and I'm done for the night!!!

Day 136

Freyja had a playdate with Freya today. Freya is a year younger than mine, she has not had any friends over before (she was a daycare baby til her mom just graduated UWF) so it was a learning experience for her today on sharing. The girls did alright together but once we went to Chik Fil A for lunch and were on neutral ground for both girl, things went much smoother! Jax had a good time playing where ever he went, hes never hard to please if theres toys around! Big news of the day is that I purchased plane tickets for the kids and I to go to Utah from June 7-11 and dad to come back with us and stay til June 18. Freyja can't wait to fly and I can't wait to see my dad :-)

Day 135

Lil man conked out at 830 last night and woke up at 8am!! No nursing or anything!! The kids and I rescued a box turtle this morning, thought we were going to fence in part of the yard to keep the turtle but decided it was best to release it on the nature trail out at UWF. Now, both kids are conked out, hubby's at a midnight game release and I'm catching up in some dvr'd shows!! Gnite!!

Day 134

Happy mothers day!! Jax let me sleep til 715, then he went back to bed with his daddy til after 9 giving me some quiet time to play with my pictures. Freyja woke up about 830 and cuddled me on the couch. David gave me time to paint the bathroom today. I had just painted one side of the bathrooms baseboard when he walked in and said that was NOT the color he thought it was. So we went to Lowes and found a color we both liked and a new trim color. David grilled hotdogs tonight for dinner while I played with the kids then we picnicked in the backyard again. I'm late blogging tonight because as soon as Jax went to sleep I went back in to paint some more. The entire bathroom trim is done now. The inner bathroom is done but the vanity area still needs a second coat. Now time to catch a few zzz's before lil man rises and shines!

Day 133

It's a sad day...my Zootography classes have come to an end. At least I already know what I want for my christmas/anniversary/birthday present for next year :-) The white peacock was my favorite today. Everything was wonderful, I could've stayed for hours today just playing but had to come home eventually. David said Freyja threw a fit when I called at noon and said I'd be late coming home, she was ready for some mama time!! We had lunch/dinner at Granmamas today then came home, put zoo pix online then played outside while daddy mowed before the rain. We're late getting to bed tonight but the storm through off our schedule! hopefully no monsters disturb Freyja tonight and as a mothers day gift I get to sleep in past 630am!!

Day 132

I'm barely squeeking this in before the end of the day! Its been a LOOOOOOOONG day!!! Jax and I picked up Gran and Grandaddy by 830am, came back to the house to load up my camera and head to graduation. My little graduate had quite a cheering section, 13 people total just for her!! Gran and Grandaddy, Miss Rose (her namesake) and Mr Bob, Granmama and Opa, DJ and Xander, Nicole and Freya (playgroup friends) and of course daddy, Jax and myself. The ceremony was very sweet! I wish I could share it publicly but with the file size youtube will not let me. I plan on burning it to dvd and sending one to anyone who would a like a copy. Afterwards we went to Chuck E Cheese and played for a while, then Gran and Grandaddy babysat the young'ens so that David and I could go out to a matinee for my birthday. Then I took Gran and Grandaddy home, raced back to drop off Jax and then rush to my mom's night out for bit. I made it home at 8pm, played with Freyja for a few, snuggled and put her to sleep then dealt with the other wild child that had no intention of going down without a fight! Day 131

All I want to do is crawl into bed, have a nice foot massage and SLEEP!! Jaxs birthday gift was slapping me awake at 630am, I took him to his daddy, he fell back asleep with him til 9am! I worked from 830-12, took a lunch break so I could pick up Freyja, and then worked til 630. I picked up Firehouse subs for dinner because birthday babies get free subs on their birthdays. David and the kids had my birthday cards set up on the stove as well as my gift from mom and dad vh and my birthday cake mom vh made for me. She knows how much I LOVE hummingbird cake!!! Tomorrow will start early...after I prep Freyja, Jax and I will go pick up Gran and Grandaddy then meet daddy at graduation. Then we are off I Chuck E Cheese for a celebration lunch! Then taking Grandaddy home and the rest of the day is contingent our timing! We have a lot to squeeze in this weekend! Thank you all for the birthday wishes today! Even though I worked I couldnt have asked for a better day!

Day 130

It's only taken 3days but David finally put up the bedroom ceiling fan! From start to finish it took him 45min! Today Granmama and I went to "muffins with mama" at school today, Freyja threw a fit as we tried to leave. I worked afternoon shift again and work a 12hr shift tomorrow. David is taking off all day with the kids, he needs the break and will work this weekend to make up time. Tomorrow Freyja practices graduation again then Friday is the big day!!!

Day 129

Baby buddy and I had a playdate at the beach this morning with some friends. After the beach we did a quick wardrobe change before picking up sister so she wouldnt be upset about us going to the beach without her. After picking her up we went to Chik Fil A for lunch. I worked this afternoon and do so again tomorrow and all day Thursday. Next few days will be busy busy!!

Day 128

First day of the last week of school! It kills me to think I already have a little graduate! Wednesday her school is having a mothers day breakfast, "muffins with mom". Thursday they have another rehearsal and then Friday my big girl walks across the stage and accepts the first award of her life! Tomorrow Jax and I have a beach date with some friends. I work the night audit shift of rush tomorrow and Wednesday and then Thursday I work a 12hr day since its the first day of school. Today the kids and I went to Eunice's house (ex bookstore boss, extra mother) and helped build a swing for her backyard. The kids had a blast playing with her barbies and cars til Jax found the tool box and decided to fix the fence. I am very proud of how both of them behaved today, for being in a new place they did remarkably well!! Time to knock out some kids and catch some zzzz's with my lil man who slept all night for the first time last night!!

Day 127

It's amazing how things snowball sometimes! We started out this morning trying to change out the bedroom ceiling fan and the day is ending with an after hours drywaller patching our ceiling where the previous owners cut a gaping hole in the ceiling and covered it only with a ceiling medallion. The kids have had a great day playing with Sarina and being outside. We ended the day with one of our family favorite movies, Ponyo. If you haven't seen it, I would highly recommend it! Tomorrow starts Freyjas last week of preschool...amazing how this year has flown by!

Day 126

You know the painting "The Scream"? Seriously that's how I feel EVERY time I take Jax to the front yard! We went to Milton today and just "wasted" some time with Gran, good time though!!! Then had a cul de sac party tonight, Jax and I spent the first part in the backyard as its impossible to keep him In one place in the front yard. Then we ate and David took over Jax and I kept Freyja in front til the sun went down and super moon came out. Now it's bedtime and Jax and I will be crashing In his room again til David and adam fix my fan tomorrow!

Day 125

It's been a day...Freyjas field trip was cancelled today because of rain. Jax got a "boy" haircut. Afterwards we went to the grocery store where he had a fit til I let him eat his apple, as you can tell he really put a hurtin on that thing! It was a fruit punch flavored apple! And not too bad either! Then I got to go ro Lowes and buy a replacement fan for the one dying in our bedroom as well as paint for the living room and our bedroom! We went to the spring carnival at Freyjas future school, she had lots of fun playing games this year and of course loved her cotton candy! Tomorrow we're off to see Gran and go see DJ/John/kids at a civil war reenactment in Bagdad.

Day 124

We survived the dentist today! I could hear her screaming from the lobby but the whole process took less than 10min and they brought her straight back to me. You've never seen a hold so happy to sit down to a bowl of cereal tonight and know she's not "feeding" an icky bug eating her tooth! David killed a kitchen drawer last night, I put it back together tonight as well as painted a shelf for the kids bathroom. It's been a productive day! Tomorrow Freyjas class has a field trip to the park...I'm still debating taking Jax up at some point to check on her but I don't wanna disturb them! A week from tomorrow I'll have a little graduate on my hands!!

Day 123

Well, we survived kindergarten orientation today and Freyja likes the looks of her new school. Gran survived the morning with Jax. Then we did Grans grocery shopping and had lunch at Chik Fil A so the kids could play. Daddy helped Freyja with her teeth tonight and showed her how to use her new flossers. Tomorrow is C day....cavity filling day!!! Keep your fingers crossed the dentist keeps all o his fingers!!

Day 122

Too Freyja to the Dr this morning to get some sensitives for her dental appt on Thursday. She weighed in at 38lbs and 39 1/2in tall. She's TALL for her age and everything else looks fine. She still needs 5yr old boosters in July but that's it. She went in late for school today but still had a fun day. She and Jax played outside with Lamar for a while til the driveway jumped up and kissed Jaxs cheek then we had to come in and call it a night. It's a early day tomorrow...good thing Jax is already asleep! Now to knock out Freyja!!
