Day 152

Yep, day 151 I skipped. I had a night out with the girls and didn't make it home til after 2am. Today I met my friend Tatious and her family down at the park and did some portraits for them. It was my first time to shoot people beyond my family. David and the kids came with me so that he could see Tatious for a few. After I finished with them I turned the camera on David and the kids and just took a few fun shots. The rest of them are in the May album. Tomorrow is Gran day, keep you fingers crossed the weather behaves for us!!

Day 150

Took the kids to the park today. They loved running around and I enjoyed the shade! Our printer died again and David is still debating which one to get to replace it so I went over to mom and dad vhs to print out all of my email confirmations for next month. I have 9 days til Utah and 16 days til Atlanta!! Not that I'm excited or counting down or anything :-)

Day 149

Must be fabulous to be 21months and look good in everything! Lil man really has a personality that shines! Today Bugg and I played the Wii for a while, then she played it with daddy. Then we watched a couple of shows while Freyja played computer. Around 4 I took the kids out and played til 6 when daddy shoo'd us in the house so he could finish mowing. When I bathed he kids I had to shower them before letting them sit as they had been playing in the dust and looked like lil gray ghosts. I made some cookies, booked my room for Atlanta now it's time to knock some kids out!

Day 148

We've had a quiet day of cuddles, tv, family time and daddy mowing the backyard. Jax played in the treasure box of beads for almost an hour today, bringing us beads and decorating the house. It took almost 30min to find all the beads to put them back! Had a rough night with Jax last night, here's hoping tonight will be better!!

Day 147

Finally managed to COMPLETE the inner bathroom today! Cabinet doors are rehung, floor is spotless and walls are done! Still need to touch up the outer bathroom and paint cabinets... I've decided we're hiring someone for the rest of the house! I'm not doing this! My leg is on fire, I just washed it and applied new cerran wrap and it burns to touch them! It's normal though, tomorrow I will be plastic wrap free and have to apply lotion every couple of hours. It's a lot of work the first few days but worth it in the long run! After my past tattoos I always already had the next one in mind, this time I KNOW I'm done because there's nothing else I can think of that completes me like what I already have. We went to Granmamas and Opas tonight and did burgers, dogs and corn on the grill. Next door neighbors kids outgrew their playhouse and were going to toss it but mom vh saved it for the kids. David took Freyja swimming while Jax and I played with the new playhouse and in the water table. Came home and David mowed the yard while kids and I ate icecream then both kids were out by 9! I'm gonna pay being up this late but it's the only 100% "me time" I get these days! Tomorrow is a lazy day! Catch up on dvr'd shows and play with the kids!

Day 146

I must be a glutton for punishment to be willing to go under a needle and have it carve designs in me. Tonight I got my 5th and 6th tattoos and these are my final ones for sure! I've always wanted one to symbolize my love of Pink Floyd (Dark side of the Moon) and my eternal thanks to their music for helping me through both my parents and my own divorce. I could've stayed in a dark place for a long time if I hadn't submersed myself in their music and let it bring me back from he depths of despair. And as for the other rose and the jax...just a whim, they mean nothing ;-) David didn't know I was getting that one at all and when he finally noticed it on my leg he asked why I had a rose and a jack on my leg then stopped and asked why he just said that...took a closer look and fell in love! Freyja is head over heals for her rose, she knows it's there because she's my beauty. Jax just wants to poke the serran (sp?) wrap on my leg and watch mama squeal and jump. I'm "grounded" from the pool for the next two weeks but after the kids and I come back from Utah it'll be safe to submerge them, plus the pool water will be warmer! 19 more days til my concert!!!

Day 145

Two kids out before 930!! It's a record!! I guess I'll start showering at night with the kids like tonight if that means they konk out this easy! I painted my exterior bathroom today and am slowing putting it back together. Talked to my dad for over an hour tonight, two weeks from today and the kids and I will be in Utah...tomorrow I have a mommy (and kid) lunch date then home to continue cleaning up my bathroom. Plus Tatious will be home starting tomorrow til June 2 and we have lots of girl stuff planned!! Yay :-)
