Day 281

Lazy day! What should've been a school day ended up a sleep in day followed by daddy and Opa in the attic, lots of outdoor play and a free redbox to complete the night! Freyja apparently had a 48hr bug, Friday night she woke me up at 1am for clean up duty, was symptom free Saturday, then Sunday we went to Mom and dad vhs for Monnies birthday and as soon as we finished lunch Freyja was sick again. She's eaten several times today and has had tons of fresh air and playtime so I'm hoping the bug has timed out finally! Jax came in about 6ish this morning and was as cold as ice so I flipped him up under my already toasty covers and he went back sound asleep for another few hours. It was nice to have him back in my bed this morning...but very crowded! Tomorrow he and I are off to drive Miss Daisy and the ol man around Milton.

Day 279

Well... I think I can safely say it was just a touch of food poisoning that had Freyja down last night and today. She's been perky and eating since about 2pm when I made her a huge pot of home made chicken noodle soup. Jax has done his best to be a sweet boy and let sister rest so we played trains and watched his favorite movies while sister napped and relaxed in her room all morning. I hate having a puny Bugg but rather it food poisoning than a 24-72hr flu bug! Here's hoping the rest of the weekend is uneventful!

Day 277

Jax and I kidnapped Gran today and played. After we picked up Freyja we went to Chik Fil A for a quick playtime then took Gran back home. Jax learned two new words today, poo and pee...both which he has shouted at the top of his lungs on numerous occasions today! TGIF tomorrow even if it is ssdd!

Day 276

School pictures and babies holding babies! It's been a day of firsts! I can not put into words how much Jax loved holding Ryker today. He would've sat there for hours rocking and cooing "oh bebe" over and over if we'd have let him. Freyja said she gave the photographer a beautiful smile today. They were the first ones in to take pix so hopefully her little "headlights" are still straight and you can see the squirrels on them. Kids had their haircuts Monday, I did mine today. They took an inch of dead ends off. Time to go get lost in a book and ignore the political outcries from the internet and tv!

Day 275

I wish I could've gotten a picture of Hadley and Jaxon playing together at the park today but neither would stay put long enough. My friend Michelle makes hair bows and made a pair of squirrel barrettes for Freyjas school pictures tomorrow so we met at the park for our youngest ones to play, Hadley is one month younger than Jax. I'm in a funk right now but that's all I'm saying, sorry the blogs are less often but when my mood sours, everything suffers. Tomorrow we have a morning play date with DJ then lunch with a bunch of mommies & youngens. School pix are tomorrow, keep fingers crossed for a beautiful smile!!

Day 272

Jax and I took Gran grocery shopping today. Once we got back to the house and were unloading groceries I caught a movement out of the corner of my eye and it was moms turtle! I unstrapped Jax and let him loose and we followed the turtle back to its nest. Jax LOVED it!!! After seeing the video, Freyja says the turtles name is Jasmine...who am I to argue with a 5yr old?!? Freyja and David went to a school function today, it was a Father's Day out type program where dads and kids all meet at the park and get acquainted. Both had an awesome time! They were just finishing a movie as Jax and I arrived back home. Tomorrow is clean house and laundry day...boo!!

Day 270

I HAVE DRUGS!!!i would shout that from the roof tops but would probably have DCFS banging down my door shortly after! To clarify, my dr called in some antibiotics for me this morning for my sinus junk. It's the craziest scheduled med I've ever taken (21 pills over 6 day) but day one went down the hatch just fine! In other news, I have a boy! Yeah, not new news but he's acting more like one! Slamming doors, messes, head butting, roaring at everything, tantrums...would I trade him for a second drama queen? No! But I'm not sure I'm up to the learning experience he has in store for me! Then he has sweet moments like taking "baby" to school to pick up sister and he has it cradled in his arms and the next thing I hear is kisses! Freyja starts an after school exercise program on Monday. If Jax is allowed in his stroller, he and I will walk with her, if not we will walk while she participates. It's for one hour after school on Mondays only from Oct 1-Apr 29. Time to head to bed and pray the meds and nose pin let me sleep tonight!
